MEND (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition…Do it!) is a social enterprise dedicated to reducing rates of overweight and obesity. Our work is underpinned by behavior change and driven by our belief in innovation, partnership and social action. We work in a way that is upbeat, empathetic, and backed by expertise. We aim to inspire behavior change at the individual, family and community levels through our community-based weight management and health and wellness programs, training and resources.
The MEND Foundation is an independent 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation whose mission is to disseminate the MEND 7-13 Program in the US to low-income, underserved communities at low cost through public-private partnerships. Thanks to international support from partners in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, approximately 1,000 MEND Programs take place each year. To date MEND has helped over 40,000 families from diverse backgrounds become fitter, healthier and happier.
MEND is an equal opportunity employer and will treat all job applicants fairly and equally, regardless of age, disability, gender re-assignment, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, religion or belieft, race, sex or sexual orientation.
